Cartier introduced the circular Ballon Bleu in 2007, it goes beyond the traditional round watch with Cartier’s meticulous attention to detail. The model’s short lugs in combination with the convex bezel, crystal, and caseback enhance the curves of the round shape. Possibly the most striking feature of the watch is its crown. Fitted with a large blue cabochon and recessed into the case, the fluted crown almost appears to float within the watch.
