The Rolex GMT-Master II ref. 116710BLNR was released at Baselworld 2013. Rolex had been using Cerachrom for bezels for about ten years, but it wasn’t until the Batman GMT that the company was able to create a two-tone bezel. The “BLNR” portion of the “Batman” reference number is short for “Bleu Noir,” which is French for “Blue Black.”
